It's Spring Break and Joanna is having lots of fun.
It started Friday afternoon with her first piano lesson.
She loved it and wants to practice the piano even when mommy wishes she wouldn't.
On Monday Bethany and
Mariah came over for the day. Shiloh became part of a beanie dog pile. I don't think he minded the attention.
On Tuesday we
went to Davis Farmland. Joanna went straight to the pony ride line.
Rusty took her for a couple laps.
Next it was time to feed some animals. The animals were certainly interested.
Joanna wanted to feed the lambs but they were still a bit young.
Mom was more than happy to have some.
Wookie the alpaca had a bad hair cut.
The little calf was hungry but Joanna was a bit afraid of the long scratchy tongue and backed away from it.
This was a bit frustrating for the calf.
Success!
There were some animals I wouldn't want to feed.
Snickers the llama was very friendly.
He thought Joanna's hat was more interesting than the food.
I wonder what kind of milk you get from a plastic cow?
Joanna soon found the face painting station and put on her war paint.
The play area was a lot of fun.
Joanna decided to try some fishing.
She caught one!
We went to check out the other play area.
Joanna was really excited to try out the carts. Turns out that pedaling is a lot of work.
Some of the kids went digging for dinosaur bones.
They found some.
There were also houses that needed paint.
Joanna found these carts easier to drive.
I knew she had a great time when she told me the next morning that her legs were sore.
